Dancehall

It's a genre of Jamaican popular music that originated in the late years 1970. Originally, the dancehall was a version of reggae full of "space", unlike the roots style, dominant in the music scene of the island for most of the seventies.
Dancehall dancers use to wear comfortable and light clothing, colorful African style following. Also this style "dread locks" consisting wear long hair and numerous braids, sometimes hidden under a hat made of bright colors.

One of the best dancehall dancers is María José, since she was very young developes a talent for dance, also practicing in gymnastics academies and participating in modern dance, body language and falklore, which years later manifest in the great passion that developes today.

Funky

Funk is a music genre that originated in the mid- to late 1960s when African American musicians created a rhythmic, danceable new form of music through a mixture of soul music, jazz, and rhythm and blues (R&B).
 Their clothing is colorful, attractive, athletic, stylish, practical...You can say it's a style with many variations according to taste and very street, stands out leather, jeans and cotton. You can go in many ways, with straight or curly hair, with braids, upsweep, loose...
There are a lot of good dancers  because is like hip hop , there are many champions .

Jazz Dance

It's shared by a large range of dance styles. Every individual style of jazz dance has roots of African American and Caribbean.
It was a big hit in the early '50s and it's still a well-loved style of dance all over the world.
Improvisation was an important element in early forms of jazz dance.
A jazz dancer usually wear elegant and bright clothes.

Andrew Merland is a Theatre Jazz's teacher, he has done many contests and he is considered to be one of the best dancers. It has wide experience as assistant of choreography in the theatre, television, cinema and important events.
Nowadays he is a teacher of jazz, sexystyle, dancehall and commercial dance.

Street Dance

It refers to dance style , regardless of country of origin .That evolved outside dance studios in any available open space such as streets , dance parties , parks and nightclubs . They are of improvisational and social in nature . Also like many styles street dance originated from classical ballet, a number of aspects made the style rear away from its original such as cultural and individual ideas and emotions.
Two examples of street dance include Breakdancing and Melbourne Shuffle.
Also there isn't a dancer who is the best of the world because there are a lot of nice dancer, and there are a lot of championships.

Hip hop

It's a kind of dance that appear in Unite States for the 60's accompained by hip hop music . It's characterized  as a dance Hispanic American and Afro-American because the origin is in popular neighborhoods of New York. Across of  it we try to represent freedom .
People who dances hip hop wear baggy clothes and trainers.

There isn't a dancer who is the best of the world because there are a lot of  nice dancers, and there are a lot of championships

Contemporany dance

It's a kind of dance which searches express (across the dancer) an idea, a feeling like Classic Ballet but mixing body movements of century XX and XXI. The wardrobe changes, we think it's more confortable than ballet.

 Paul Taylor criticised the basic musical quality of some choreographers propose an independent choreography with typical signify and figures, and dramatic games with the spectator.

Ballet

Ballet is a classic dancing, this kind of dance includes dance, mime and theatre.
When you want to dance Ballet, you have to learn to control your body totally , and it's better to begin when you're child. It is governed by a choreography in which the jumps and overpasses predominate. They can be composed of several members who must wear tights, pointe shoes and tulle skirts.

Mijaíl Barýshnikov (Misha) is the best ballet dancer of the world, he is also an actor. He was the hero in Lago de los cisnes. His way of dancing was recognised like a "book text" for his excellent technique , emocional difference and his masculine and adventurous style.
